MoonCake Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival) is chinese tradisional celebration day... is quite a long story to explain in details :p It fall on 15th August (chinese calendar) every yr. On this day, the moon is in FULL, family will gather to have dinner, eating mooncake (round,square biscuit).
Those chinese words = wishes.
Delivered the mooncake to everyone,which made of : consideration, caring, romance, warming,peace.. Method of keep this 'mooncake' good will be "Appreciate" !!
oh ya.. is also called as "Lantern day" ... kids will be playing the Lantern after family dinner.(Tradisonal Lantern: made from bamboo with colour plastic paper, candle with light in middle).
Hi--sounds like such an interesting celebration. OK, the mooncakes are biscuits (smile). I've seen the lanterns up, but didn't realize what they were for.
