Friends around told this movie not so nice as they expected 'big action' (wars)... To me, I only see a sorrow of a lady [GONG LI] in this movie, as she lived in old time of tradisonal chinese culture ... can really fell the pains, sorrow, loneliness on her.. her actings really GREAT!

Ya.. i dont like Jay Chow also, his acting really bad on this movie...but i like GongLi :) Never miss any of her movies.. ^_^
